Salmon fishing

Oregon offers some of the best Salmon fishing in the world. We fish for Chinook salmon starting in March all the way through November. The run starts in the spring with the famed Spring Chinook. These are by far the best tasting salmon you can get. They are also fresh from the ocean and hard fighting fish. We target these fish on the Columbia and Willamette Rivers. These trips offer the chance to fish in some beautiful areas and have a chance to catch one of these famed fish. The spring salmon season runs march through June. 

Once the spring run is over we move to summer Chinook. These are also fresh hard fighting fish. The season is short but the fish are big. We offer these trips on the Columbia river typically in the month of June. 

August 1st kicks off our fall run. We start this season in Astoria Oregon at the mouth of the Columbia River. In Astoria we catch both Chinook and Coho Salmon. This can be a truly world class fishery. The catch numbers can be high and the weather can be great. Astoria also offers some great attractions to make a fun trip. 

After August we follow these fish up the Columbia River. Usually September we are in the Portland area for most of the month. We then move up to The Dalles to finish the season. 

October and November we fish Tillamook bay and Nehalem bay. These areas are right at the ocean so the fish are fresh and can get big.
