Now that Christmas is over and we look into the New Year whats on your fishing bucket list? Double M Outdoors will be doing Walleye trips in the Mid Columbia region starting in March. These are fun trips with good eating fish. The weather however can be tough. Wind and rain, even a little snow are all possible. If you book a trip we will help our clients be prepared by sending a list of needed items to bring. Once we are done with March Portland fishing charters will head to the Portland area for Spring Salmon trips. This is another fishery that the weather can be tough but its do able and can provide you with the best eating salmon that we have in the Pacific Northwest. Spring Salmon enter the river from the ocean and move through the system fairly fast. This gives them less time to start losing there fat. If you would like to get in on any of these fisheries reach out right away to get on the books. There are limited days of good spring salmon fishing so you want to hit it right.
March will be here before we know it. Lets get out and catch some fish. Walleye, Sturgeon, Salmon and whatever else will bite.
