Portland is a great hub for chasing salmon, sturgeon, steelhead, and walleye. In the Portland area, we have several rivers to choose from for our fishing charters depending on our desired species.

The Willamette River which runs right through downtown Portland is a great river that has a lot of opportunities. On the Willamette River, we fish for spring salmon as well as sturgeon. Then we have the Columbia River which runs right through Portland as well. The Columbia River gets a huge run of spring salmon, summer salmon, and fall salmon. This gives us the ability to run guide trips almost year-round. The Columbia River also offers some world-class fishing for keeper and oversize sturgeon as well as walleye. If you’ve never caught a sturgeon, it’s a bucket list fish for sure!

With Portland being such a great spot to fish with many river options and species we can offer our charter clients an unforgettable experience on the water. Portland also has a lot of fun and cultural things to do while you’re in town fishing. Some world-class restaurants and museums, beautiful sightseeing to do, and Multnomah Falls is just a few minutes outside of Portland and is a must-see! Lodging is available for all budgets. We can even set you up at a hotel that has a dock so we can pick you up for your day of fishing right at your hotel.
